Hey, I’m Tanner—dad, flight paramedic, and nature photographer.

I'm a hobbyist wildlife and landscape photographer based in central Iowa with a passion for exploring nature with my camera in hand. I'm dad to Jack and Scarlett - they often accompany me on my adventures traveling down rural gravel roads searching for my next photo opportunity, along with my wife, Lydia. When I don't have my camera in hand, I work full time as a critical care flight paramedic for an academic medical center.

I've had the honor to have been the recipient of a handful of awards, and am happy to share that some of my work is available for viewing in a few various local establishments. Most notably, you can view two of my images at McFarland Clinic, P.C., a medical office, in Marshalltown, Iowa. If you're ever there for care, be sure to checkout my images which are located near the elevator on the lower level near the Pediatrics department and in the Pediatric waiting area.

All of my work is available for purchase in a variety of print and digital formats. I have explored the idea of an online store, however I have recently found it difficult to dedicate the time that it would take to do this properly. Hopefully, I’ll relaunch my online storefront sometime soon.
